If you find you are eating a bit more unhealthily as the mince pies and chocolates appear, try Kombucha to help ease the stomach.

Kombucha comes from ‘Kombu’s cha’, with Kombu reportedly being a Korean Doctor who used his tea drink to help with a stomach complaint.  It reached Russia around the 20th century and became a popular household beverage.

You could even try drinking it instead of wine as it has an almost cider’ish taste to it!

Embrace the pumpkin!

And with Halloween on our doorstep, I thought a great Pumpkin recipe would be just the thing for some inspiration!

Chocolate high without the low….

I love chocolate but anything with too much sugar in it just gives me a massive high followed by a sugar crash, where I just start craving for more!…. with the foggy head to go with it…

As a Naturopath, I very much work with the key principle:  “The healing power of nature”, which suggests that the body has its own innate ability to heal itself, given the correct conditions.

Living in accordance with nature however, such as eating fresh food; drinking clean water; resting and getting outside into the fresh air and sunshine, is unfortunately no longer the way of life, and instead we are exposed to polluted air and waters, and all sorts of other stresses, suppressing our vital force.

We therefore have to work a lot harder to keep ourselves healthy but nature is still within our reaches, if we look for it, and one way to embrace nature is to use bee propolis!
