However, sugar has many long term detrimental effects on the body when taken out of proportion; such as excesses being stored as fat; increasing stress hormones and suppressing the immune system.

  1. Loving your Christmas posts Susan. This one resonates as trying to rebalance sugars whilst being Type 1 diabetic and at Christmas is certainly a challenge. Keep to low GI products, balance treats with fish, meat & veggies and all in moderation. Keep ’em coming πŸ˜‰
